PISSbox
Pickup currently unavailable
the Passive Inverter and Signal Summing box (PISSbox) is a tiny device that performs two simple functions: 1. summing (mixing) two mono signals into one mono signal and 2. inverting one of those two mono signals before summing.
the purpose of the PISSbox is noise removal. when using a stereo source with panning capabilities, one input is used for the hard-panned program material and the other is noise floor only (no program material). when the switch is in the INVERT position the noise (present in equal amounts on both channels) is cancelled out leaving a clean mono signal.
